Alya depuis

The United Kingdom

British citizens and residents making aliyah from the UK

The same rabbi-letter proof standard as North America, but run through the Jewish Agency’s UK office rather than Nefesh B’Nefesh.

Qui décide de votre éligibilité

UK aliyah runs primarily through the Jewish Agency’s Aliyah UK office. Nefesh B’Nefesh works closely with the Jewish Agency on UK cases, but its flights serve North Americans, and UK applicants are told directly to contact the Jewish Agency.

Prouver que vous y avez droit

The same standard as North America: a letter from a recognised rabbi confirming your Jewish status, on letterhead and signed in ink, with supporting civil documents for patrilineal or convert cases.

Documents, apostille et traduction

À confirmer

The same civil-document set as North America: passport, apostilled long-form birth certificate, apostilled civil marriage certificate, criminal record check and photos, with translation for anything not in English, French, Russian or Hebrew. The UK is a Hague Apostille member, so apostilles are the route.

The UK document list is corroborated from a UK aliyah guide alongside the Jewish Agency redirect; confirm the current dossier directly with Aliyah UK.

Le parcours et les délais

À confirmer

Open a file with the Jewish Agency’s UK office, attend an interview, and obtain your visa through the Israeli embassy in London. Flights and logistics are arranged separately rather than through the Nefesh B’Nefesh charter system.

Process detail here is from a third-party UK guide corroborated by the official NBN redirect; verify current steps with Aliyah UK.
