Aliyahu exists to make aliyah legible: what the steps are, which deadlines cost money, and where every figure comes from. What it is not is a substitute for the authorities or for a professional who knows your case.

Not legal, tax, medical or immigration advice

Everything here is general information, dated and linked to its source. It is not legal, tax, financial, medical or immigration advice, and using it does not create any professional relationship. Whether you are eligible for aliyah, what a benefit is worth for you, what you must file, or what a medical decision should be, is determined by the relevant authority (the Jewish Agency, Nefesh B’Nefesh, the ministries, Bituach Leumi, the Tax Authority) and by a licensed professional. Confirm anything that matters with them before you act.

In an emergency

If you or someone else is in danger, call the emergency services now: police 100, ambulance 101, fire 102, or the Home Front Command guidance line. The crisis contacts on this site are a convenience, not a replacement for those numbers.

We date everything, and things still change

Every figure carries the day it was checked and its source, and the site flags a fact when it passes its review date rather than presenting it as current. We do this precisely because Israeli rules, rates and deadlines change. Even so, a figure can change between checks. The date on each item is your guide to how far to trust it, and the freshness scorecard reports how current the whole site is.

How we handle our own products

A few things on this site are made by Aliyahu’s founder, and each says so on its card. We rank them on merit like everything else, never boosted for being ours, and where a founder option is paid we show the free and subsidised routes first. If you ever think we have got that wrong, tell us.

We link out to government sites, apps and organisations we do not control, and we are not responsible for their content or availability. Aliyahu is provided as is, without warranty, and to the extent the law allows we are not liable for decisions made in reliance on it. It is a starting point that respects your time, not the final word.
